Greg Hildebrandt, a legendary artist who helped design one of the first theatrical posters for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, hand painted each character for the pack design and even signed a few posters for a special giveaway on social.

Before the official pack announcement, we dropped a Tumblr dedicated to The OREO Empire, a deep conspiracy that OREO cookies appear in all Star Wars™ films. We partnered with actor Josh Gad to release the conspiracy theory on May 4th. Thousands rallied behind the theory, and Josh Gad boasted about cracking the conspiracy wide open with Collider.

Even THE Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, said the force is strong with this theory.

Within 24 hours of the pack launch, Star Wars™ OREO cookies generated one million impressions and engagements across OREO organic social channels and 112 media placements generating 62.7M+ UVPD (966.7M+ UVPM) earned impressions. Launch day stories ran across top-tier outlets including People, Food & Wine, Hypebeast, Nerdist and more. We even got a shout out on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
